Wednesday, July 04, 2007 School sucks.Blah...I hate biosafety...but it is very important....better study hard. Urgh....I have lab session tomorrow again. I hate it when I take my plates out of the incubator. The moment I open the door, the smell of ....hmm....I don't know how to describe it.....but it smells really bad....worst than a toliet that has not been washed for 10 years, comes straight into your face.Alright, I can ask someone else to take the plates out..but there's no escape....I still have to open the lids of the plates and observe the colonies....unless I hold my breath, it is inevitable that I still smell it.... Just the thought of stepping into the lab dreads me.....once u enter the first smell one notices is the bacteria culture's stinking smell. Blah, no choice. If I want to work in the lab in the future I have to put up with this and I know I have to deal with stool samples sometimes as well........so better train my nose to filter out the smell now. No wonder I have to study biosafety. Hmm.....why can't I just do everything in the biosafety cabinet? The smell won't escape that way then........but sadly...there is few BSCs in my sch...... Ah....finally ...my streaking technique have improved...I get seperate colonies now...but I'm still not satisfied.............I can definately do better.....opps........my prac test is coming up..what to do??? I can't sneak into the lab to practise can I? Sigh........Oh, I hate it when some of my classmates makes so much noise in the lab and start playing games....yes...playing games in the lab................don't they know that we are dealing with bacteria??? Not that I am black hearted...but I do wish that they inhale some of the yummy bacteria while playing...that will teach them a lesson.....hmm..what should they inhale???? How about Bordetella pertusis??? MUHAHHAHAHAHA................................... |
