Saturday, July 14, 2007 MusicI was listening to Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings, op.11 by the BBC orchestra just now and I was so moved by that piece. It is so sad and touching. I would love to listen to a live performance of that piece. I don't know why but these days I tend to like emotional pieces...music that convey the emotions similar to that piece.Sad music relaxes me. I hate those disco music my brother loves ...those techno and crap that he likes to play ever so loudly. Its irritating to me. Yuck...he has no taste at all. U call that music??? Hardly any emotion...just irritating loub bass beats with lacklusture singing by someone with a little girl's voice. He likes that kind of music. We may be siblings but our taste in music is totally different. |
